And here is the familiar image - the
Potala Palace in Lhasa. It is now quite difficult to photograph, so that the shot did not
hit the Chinese posters or gaudy lights in the square before the palace. On this
photo the trees mask that lamps. The picture is taken without the "land" because
at a huge red banner with characters stretched the bottom of the palace -
we do not need it.

These are Tibetans - probably they
are pilgrims from the province. They came to the holy sites - do the Kora
around Jokhang, may be to look at the Potala Palace. Grandmother holding prayer

We have visited two monasteries around Lhasa - Drepung
and Sera. And I'v forgot which one is shown here! They are similar in principle
and the nature around them is the same. Drepung should be more. In general, this
is or Drepung or sulfur. A man sitting on the right - he is asking for money, I
suppose. He is not a monk.

Tibet is a very high place. And the highest mountains in the world - the Himalayas - located near
